The problem of the connection of the occurrence to the past is considered one of the fundamental issues of philosophical thought. Mulla Sadra, by presenting the theory of essential and moving movement of considering the material world as inherently mobile, introduced the identity of beings as the same as change and movement, and since essential matters are not subject to causality, tried to succeed in solving the problem of the connection of the occurrence to the past. Mawli Mohammad Amin Astarabadi, a famous hadith scholar, in line with the criticism of logic and the discovery of the errors of philosophers, solves this problem based on the teachings of the infallible Imams (AS) in the sense of the first and ancient nature of God Almighty, and with a rational and abstract understanding of the concept of eternal extension in nothingness. Although neither of the two views seems to be free from challenges and concerns, in comparison, Astarabadi's plan is simpler and less challenging than Mulla Sadra's view. Both thinkers share the same negation of time and space and reasoning through rational abstraction, and both views involve the challenge of adhering to a kind of scientific certainty (determining God).
