By exploring in the typology of self- knowledge in sadrian philosophy can be more recognition of Human self- knowledge. There are three steps from awareness in sadrian philosophy as mentioned perception, sensory awareness, imagination and rational. So, self- knowledge can divide into three intuitive: sensory, imagination and rational. In the sense of self- knowledge one awareness into the sphere of his/her material existence in generally, and his/her body in specifically as “my body” and “myself” is mentioned. When one aware of his/her ideal body that is immaterial with material effect, into the sphere of imagination he/she has imaginative self- knowledge. Finally, rational self- knowledge is aware of immaterial nature without bodily or material sense. Therefore, Mulla Sadra said that human rational self- knowledge not perfectly immaterial but it’s also poison the imagination. Therefore, his/her rational self- knowledge is poison to the imagination.

The aim of this study is to examine the meaning of life at the view point of Aristotle and the role of pleasure in reach to it with a descriptive- analysis method. Aristotle makes deep connection between pleasure and meaning of life. The fulfilled life is necessary and sufficient conditions for a meaningful life. Meaning that pleasure accompanies and supplement it. He believes that, reaching fulfilled life introduces as goal and summom bonum and, states the relationship between pleasure and the meaning of life. He introduces Virtue as the way to reach fulfilled life. Virtues have two categories: intellectual and moral. The intellectual are premier than moral because they are humans special functionality and as the same way the pleasures of their are purer, so we should search the meaning of life primarily. He accepts pleasure as the necessary and insufficient condition for fulfilled life. So we don’t live for reaching pleasure, but we live for reaching ultimate fulfilled life, that in its shadow we could have the best pleasure. Some of his research in psychology, in deals with the immaterial and immortal intellect position according to this view, he believes that pleasure and meaning relationship still stable after death

Spirituality and rationality theory identifies the connection between rationality and spirituality as the only way to reduce human suffering. According to the theorist, modern rationality does not confirm traditional religion. Hence religion cannot play its historical role in reducing human suffering. Therefore, it should be replaced by spirituality. This theory is ultimately based on a combination of "non-realistic rationality" aiming to prove that spiritual beliefs are mysterious and reason-averting in nature and the "instrumental rationality" aiming to prove that spiritual beliefs are optimal for keeping mental., Both non-realistic rationality and instrumental rationality have been criticized by many critics. However, the more important with non-realistic rationality are its implications which undermine its basic elements. The most important element of this theory, according to the theorist, is its aim of reducing human sufferings, while this goal cannot be achieved by non-realistic rationality. The orientation of non-realistic rationality toward spirituality opens the door to the superstitious beliefs.
